Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom has revealed that manager Jurgen Klopp didn’t speak to him about his loan exit from the club.
Wisdom moved to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in the Summer and will spend the season with them in a bid to get regular first-team football.
But, despite not being spoken to by his boss, the defender isn’t fazed and knows what he has to do to prove himself at the club.
“I didn’t speak to Jurgen Klopp,” he told The Set Pieces.
“But I don’t need babysitting or an arm around me.
“I’m not young anymore and even when I was I’d just get on with it.
“I know what I need to do: play, improve and work hard.
“I don’t need someone to tell me to do that.
“He’s got a lot on his plate and Liverpool have been great this season.
“Long may that continue.” he finished.
