Klopp offers promising update on exciting Reds starlets

The Reds have been out in La Manga of late enjoying a warm weather training camp whilst there’s been no game this weekend and it appears the young stars on show have impressed Jurgen Klopp.

Trips like this are often undertaken in the middle of the season when the chance presents itself to allow the first-team squad the chance to get ready for the run-in.

It’s going to be important, too, that it works with the Reds well in with a chance for a top four finish and Champions League football next season but the young stars out there also seem to have done well.

As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, Jurgen Klopp said of pair Yan Dhanda and Conor Masterton:

“We needed two players and we decided on Yan and Conor [to come on the trip.]

“I know all of the boys and that’s really cool. It’s a good group. They have worked well, really good attitude. Yan and Conor have fitted in well.”

The pair could be the next two youngsters to break into the first-team for at least cup games, so we’ll likely have to wait until next season to see them in the senior side.
