McManaman reveals who Jurgen Klopp is currently looking at buying

Liverpool have already done some excellent business in the current window, with the signing of Fabinho and Naby Keita soon to be a Liverpool player.

A goalkeeper still remains Jurgen Klopp top priority after Loris Karius performance in the Champions League in Kiev where they lost to Real Madrid at the finals.

Klopp is reportedly in the market in search of new goal stopper despite the lack of movement on the Alisson and Jan Oblak deal.

The Brazilian international, Alisson, looks set to join Real Madrid despite Liverpool interest in signing him this season.

And Steve McManaman thinks a new goalkeeper is a certainty this summer.

“I think Jurgen will look at the goalkeeper position definitely,” he said.

“The fact there’s been so many rumours about Oblak, Alisson, Courtois whoever it is, i think it’s an area they have been looking at and will be looking at.

“Anywhere you can spend on the team right through – central defenders, he’s bought midfielders, wants a number 10, that spine of the team, i think managers will look at players who are available and if they can improve the team you have to look at it to be honest.”

Liverpool have also been linked with Chelsea’s goal stopper Thibaut Courtois who has revealed he wants out of the Stamford Bridge this summer and his agent confirming he is eyeing a move back to Spain where his family reside.
