Origi Open To Liverpool Exit

Origi, who arrived at Anfield in 2014 from Lille, joined the Wolves on a season-long loan deal last summer after falling down the pecking order under Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Belgium international has been in good form for the German outfit, scoring four goals from 15 Bundesliga appearances, and there are reports claiming a permanent deal could be on the cards when the loan ends. When asked about the possibility of an extended stay, the 22-year-old said:

“I take that as a compliment that the club rates me. Several factors play a role. I am someone who is enjoying the moment. I think everything’s possible. I focus on the here and now.

“I have a good relationship with Liverpool, but feel really well here at Wolfsburg. We’ll sit down at the end of the season and talk, we’ll see what’s next. Right now, I am here for another six months, and I am open for everything.”
