Benteke, 25, has made only 13 Premier League starts this season following his £32.5million move from Aston Villa, though he should get a rare outing against West Bromwich at the Hawthorns on Sunday as Jurgen Klopp rests his key men for Wednesday’s Europa League final.
It’s thought that Liverpool would be prepared to listen to offers for the Belgium striker this summer to raise funds for new signings but the centre-forward has indicated he will only go on his terms.

‘I think when I signed I didn’t sign for one year. I want to stay here next year,’ he said.

‘I know I’ve had a tough season but I’m going to fight until the end. Everything can change so I keep focused and keep going for the team and myself.

‘I think I have the quality, the manager knows my strengths and weaknesses and I’ve no doubt he can make me better.’

Benteke was reportedly attracting interest from West Ham but the Merseysiders have not received an enquiry or an offer.
