I feel sorry for Jurgen Klopp

Mats Hummels has admitted he feels sorry for his former manager Jurgen Klopp for Liverpool’s recent struggles.

The Bayern Munich defender who played under his compatriot at Borussia Dortmund, with the duo winning the Bundesliga title and reaching the Champions League final.
The 28-year-old, who left Dortmund last summer, revealed he still follows Klopp’s career and is keeping a close eye on Liverpool.


And he pities the recent results Klopp has endured.
When asked if he’s following the action at Anfield, he told Goal: ‘I do a lot. I watch the games if I have the time – nearly every one.

‘Of course it’s a pity for me that he is having such a bad period at the moment. They were eliminated from the FA Cup and League Cup.
‘I’m supporting him and I wish him success. They are having a hard time at the moment.’
