Liverpool 5 – Bayern Munich 5

If you are going to play a charity legends match, then 10 goals in a 5-5 draw is a good way to go about it.

Anfield was treated to a real spectacle on Saturday as legends of Liverpool and Bayern Munich played out a brilliant match.

With it being an international break Saturday, there seems little doubt that this was the game of the day.

Incredibly, had Bayern Munich legends won out it would have been the first-ever victory for a German team at Liverpool’s Anfield.

As a former legend of both teams, Xabi Alonso started the game for Liverpool, before playing the second half for Bayern.
