Liverpool set to overlook signing a new keeper this month

Despite a number of high profile mistakes from both of their goalkeepers this season, Liverpool are not going to sign a goalkeeper this month to improve the situation, according to the Daily Mail.

Liverpool have struggled in the goalkeeping department of late – something which came to the fore yesterday in the 4-3 win over Manchester City, as Loris Karius was beaten at his near post by Leroy Sane in the first-half.

Jurgen Klopp has been chopping and changing his keepers, Karius and Simon Mignolet, all season and is seemingly struggling to work out which of the two he should start.

The Reds have money to spend and it seems as though the goalkeeping position is a weak one. However, it seems no move is on the cards in the imminent future.

Liverpool will surely know it’s a problem which needs addressing but there are not currently any targets out there who they would consider as better than what they already have at their disposal.
