reminder occurs as to how lucky Liverpool are to have Jurgen Klopp

There’s an interesting story doing the rounds today in The Herald in Scotland concerning the Reds and Frank de Boer.

The Dutch manager is currently out of a job after a pretty tough stint at Inter Milan but he could be on his way to Rangers soon.

Apparently, though, things could have been so different for him and the Reds with him called by the club two years ago – as well as Tottenham.

We’d imagine it was back when Brendan Rodgers was on the verge of getting the sack from the club when speculation was circling about who was coming in.

De Boer might have done a good job, too, but we’re pretty pleased Jurgen Klopp came in in the end – particularly with the Dutchman’s record at Inter suggesting he has work to do at the very biggest of clubs.

One for the future, though? Maybe.
