There is no better place to be for a footballer than Liverpool

The Reds have been of the most impressive teams during the calendar year of 2016 under the guidance of Jürgen Klopp as they’ve scored more goals than any team in the division (86) and currently sit second in the Premier League table.

Furthermore, there has been plenty of improvements among a number of players including the likes of Adam Lallana as well as Divock Origi just to name a couple and Henderson believes things are in place for the club to challenge for honours in the future.

“That’s the plan,” the Liverpool captain told the Telegraph.
“The players we have got. The manager we have got. Everything is set for us to go and achieve great things but it is down to us to make sure it happens.
“Because, in my opinion, there is no better place to be for a footballer than Liverpool.”

Henderson has played a key role in the Merseyside outfit’s promising first-half of the campaign. He’s completed more passes (1,366) than any player in the league and has also weighed in with a total of four assists in 18 appearances.

He has been ever-present in the Premier League so far this season and that trend is expected to continue when the Reds welcome fellow title rivals Manchester City to Anfield on New Year’s Day as both sides look to keep pace with leaders Chelsea.
