Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has relived his infamous slip against Chelsea.
The Reds were on course to win a shock Premier League title in 2014 when the two sides met.
But during the match, Gerrard miscontrolled the ball and slipped over to gift Demba Ba the first of two goals.
It ended Liverpool’s 11-game winning streak and ultimately led to the Reds ending the season two points behind leaders Manchester City.
“It hurt, it will for a long time, probably forever,” Gerrard told former England teammate John Terry.
“To get so close to winning the league – it almost galvanised Chelsea to spoil the party.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to [erase that from the mind].”
