Go for it Klopp

Liverpool are reportedly interested in a sensational summer move for Arsenal star Jack Wilshere. The midfielder has worked his magic to make room for himself in the Arsenal first-team after making a strong recovery from a long-term injury. In fact, Wilshere is back to being one of Arsenal’s most effective players in the heart of the field. After raiding the Gunners to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last summer, Jurgen Klopp might be tempted to acquire Wilshere’s signature as well.

The report also suggests that Emre Can could be looking for a move out of Anfield, with Juventus understood to be keen on the player. If they do so, there will be a void in the midfield area for Klopp to fill and given how influential Wilshere has been for Arsenal, the manager has identified him as a priority target. The Englishman’s contract expires at the end of the season and the North Londoners are yet to offer him a new one. Hence, it does seem like the ideal time for Liverpool to make a move for him.

Straight off the bat, there is absolutely no doubt about the fact that Wilshere would fit wonderfully at Liverpool. At 26 years of age, he is on the cusp of hitting his prime and he boasts of experience as well as brilliant technique. In addition to that, Wilshere is quite versatile as well. He can play as a central midfielder, defensive midfielder and has played as an attacking midfielder on certain occasions for Arsenal this season.
