Mohamed Salah came off the bench to score two superb goals to help Liverpool to an impressive 3-0 victory over Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium this evening.
The Reds opened the scoring in the 17th minute as Dominic Solanke did well to keep the ball in play and it led to Sadio Mane clipping over Grant to make it 1-0.
It wasn’t until Salah came off the bench in the second half that Liverpool managed to take control of the game as the Egyptian international made it 2-0 with a superb volley following some good work from Mane.
Salah then made it 3-0 in the 83rd minute as he nicked the ball off the Stoke defender before slotting home his 17th goal of what has been an incredible season so far.
The victory means Liverpool climb to fifth in the table and are two points off fourth-placed Arsenal after they thrashed Huddersfield 5-0.
